UWL-W Luminaria Kit

Each UWL-W Luminaria Kit contains the following materials to make Ten (10) luminaria (you may need more than one kit for wider street frontage or longer driveways and walkways):

10 white, wax coated fire resistant bags
10 Three - Four hour burning tea light candles
10 plastic containers (to be filled with water to weigh down the bag)
10 double-sided foam sticky tape squares (to attach the candle to the weighted plastic container)
Assembly instruction sheet

All kits ordered online on or before December 5th* will be delivered to you by Saturday, December 9th.

The community will light the luminarias throughout town on Sunday, December 10th, at 5:00 pm (rain date, Monday, December 11th)

Unite With Light- Winchester 2023

With another wet and windy forecast for both Sunday the 17th & our back up of Monday the 18th, this year's usual single night event is turning into "UWL-W DIY Week"...just pick the dry/calm night that works best for you!

Whatever day you decide on, please share your pics on social media so we can see you all aglow...

Unite With Light-Winchester is a town-wide Luminaria Night event organized by the children of Winchester to celebrate the beginning of the winter season with beautiful light and raise money for a child-charity that will strengthen our community and our world.

This year, proceeds from the sales of the UWL-W Luminaria kits will benefit the local chapter of the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION.

It's easy to participate:

1. Order as many luminaria kits as you need here by Tuesday, December 5th

2. We will deliver your order to your doorstep by Saturday, December 9th

3. Assemble, set out and illuminate the luminarias along your front yards, walkways or driveways or path on Sunday, December 17th at 5:00 pm

4. If you would like to donate, select "Community Sponsorships"

Unite with Light was initiated in 2017 by Derek, Morgan and Brad Labadini, siblings who live in Concord, Massachusetts.

Winchester’s is the second chapter of Unite with Light, and was launched in 2019 by Winchester siblings, Colin and Mairin Norton.

We are very grateful to all of the kids and their families who have helped organize this event by working out the logistics, building and delivering the kits and promoting the event. And super grateful to those who have bought the kits and donated to support the start up costs.
